Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Excellent winter boots.
These boots are so comfortable, and I get compliments whenever I wear them.
Being able to unzip and slip them off is the key, or I can tightened down the laces for a snowshoe.

Great boots and have been wearing them out everyday I feel like I need a boot
This is my first pair of boot from lems but I am a little sad that it doesn't come in the widest foot size because that would make this a five-star no matter what. Absolutely love the laces but I need to figure out how long they are because I don't like the color and I want to replace them but they are very strong laces and I love the zipper on the side because I hate having to do an undo laces because I'm autistic it's very hard to do.

A little difficult to pull off
I like these boots very much. I haven't had the opportunity to try them in snow yet but I've worn them a few times. I do wish they were insulated but because they're waterproof I'm trusting that they will be warm enough in very cold weather. I will say that they are a little difficult to pull off which is a little disappointing.
