The Outlanders with their waterproof uppers and 4mm deep lugs will give you incredible traction, whether you’re snowshoeing through mountain powder or trudging through mucky slush in town. Live somewhere very wet (we’re looking at you PNW)? The gusseted tongue keeps the tongue completely attached to the boot, preventing moisture and debris from coming inside the shoe. We also took the same breathable, waterproof liner from the Waterproof Boulder Boot to keep water out so your feet stay dry and warm.

A spacious toe box coupled with a zero-drop platform will have your feet dancing on the trail, because these natural foot-shaped hiking boots allow you to move in proper alignment, just as nature intended.

Now, for the toughest decision of all: Which colorway will you choose? Evergreen, Blue Steel, or Iceberg? All three are beauties designed with inspiration from Mother Nature herself.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

100% WATERPROOF UPPER

With its fully waterproof membrane and gusseted tongue, the Outlander will keep your feet dry and warm, especially after a day on the slopes or slogging through slush on your way to the bar!

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel close to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

WIDE TOE BOX

Unlike traditional footwear that squeeze the toes together, our foot-shaped toe box allows for maximum room giving the toes ultimate freedom to wiggle and spread.

    Good stuff

Have been worried about trying a new boot brand since I’ve always stuck to bigger name shoes/boots. But was tired of their quality going down, so glad I did my research and glad I went with Lems! Been butting them to the test here in the winter months in the Midwest. Cold, wet rain/snow mix. Talking them off road and are stylish too. Hard to find that combo.

    So far SO good

These are some super comfy boots! Quality looks and feels top notch. I threw them right into action in icy and slushy snow conditions and they performed flawlessly. Some others have mentioned issues with traction and so far I have not had that same complaint. The traction has been comparable to that of my previous hiking boots (Asolo). With wool socks they have been perfectly comfortable and warm even in 20 degree temps. I have several brands of foot-shaped shoes (Altra, Belenka, Groundies) and took my average size across those and measured my foot to compare against Lem’s sizing chart. I am typically a 9.5 and I would say I could have ordered down at least a half size. They aren’t so big to be uncomfortable or problematic in any way but I didn’t need to size up whatsoever. Functional, very comfortable if you are accustomed to a more minimalist design, and super good looking. So far they are a yes for me! My first pair of Lem’s and I’ll definitely keep an eye on them!
