Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Love the Lems
Absolutely love these boots. I switched to a zero drop wide box sneaker and my plantar fasciitis started to get better. But....I just couldn't give up my beloved Thorogood boots for working. Each time I wore those boots the plantar fasciitis started to come back so after researching carefully I finally got these Lems. They are so incredibly comfortable but my feet feel well protected while working. My old boots are gone and I will never go back.

Best boot
These are extremely comfortable. The second I put them on I did not want to take them off. Too soon to see about durability. They hardly took any time to break in. They look cool enough to wear around casually too. Most room my toes have ever had in a pair of boots.

Yesterday
Just as good as the original.
My first pair of Boulders were the OG waterproof leather boulders. The tread wore off in 2-3 years. Much longer than expected of a barefoot. These new boulder grips so far seem good. The winter is over here and my old ones had me falling on ice even with spikes. I’ll test them out in the coming weeks on mossy rocks while I fly fish. That will be a true test, but also a very high bar. Lems has never disappointed me in boots. I had a pair of sneakers, primals. Didn’t like them but that was a different width than boulder, so it’s understandable. I do wish they offered size 15. As I’d place a special order of a Left 14 Right 15. Only because one foot has a collapsed arch and is therefore about 1/8 in longer then my left. I sent an email regarding special orders but never received a reply. For this I deduct only 1 star. The product is still great quality.
