Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

OILED LEATHER UPPER

We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

Rugged and Soft
I have the waterproof version and they are wonderful. I have a pair a half size larger than my regular shoes and they fit pefertly and there is great room in the toes. They are rugged but light and soft to the touch and they feel very secure. They are wonderful and I recommend without any hesitation.

Great boots! Well constructed and the instructions to go a half size larger were spot on. Hindsight, I should have gotten the newer version, but I still give this boot a 5 star rating and customer service 5 stars for the help with my APO shipping questions.

Great looking and comfortable
I‘ve only gotten to wear them once so far and it was on a rainy afternoon. It lloks great and very comfortable underfoot.
I have only one issue with the upper material, at the top of the boot, which is quite hard and presses into me above the ankle where it closes.
Otherwise really happy to have these!
