Great all around shoe
Great shoe for day hiking in the PNW and all day casual wear. Shoe fits great and I noticed the natural shape resulted in less foot swelling and less foot fatigue. Shoe also breathes great!

For mountain biking
I did buy 2 sizes as suggested, a 9 and a 9.5. I kept the 9.5. I usually wear a size 9 and this shoe felt too small to me. Bought these as a mountain bike shoe-had been using a zero-drop Altra for riding over the last 6 months, but overall those were too wide for my current flat pedals. So the search for a different shoe that provided a larger toebox, but not Altra-wide began.
I have Wolf Tooth small Waveform pedals, spiky little things, and these Trail Thrashers are pretty compatable, grip-wise, with said pedals. I'm wearing a thinner sock "Sock Guy" sock to enjoy moving the toes around. Can't speak to the shoes' ability to dry out, if it ever rains again in Colorado..? I like that they are not sweat and h2o holding, swampy Gore Tex that take too long to dry out!
Also want to mention if you have a larger "volume" foot, specifically in the forefoot area, you may feel like the shoe fits in a more snug manner. Again, I'm really glad I ordered 2 sizes, as the size 9 was sort of surprisingly smaller than expected. Decent shoe, classic looking design.
(Of note, have ridden 3 times since received them, no review yet of durability, how stitching holds up, how soles of shoes hold up to flat, spiky pedals....)

2nd Pair
Recently recovering from a back injury and my fav boot- just weren't cutting it any more. Bought the Moss colored for everyday work, hike and loved the feel and comfort as soon a I put them on! No break in, orthotics fit perfectly, had to size up 1/2 (usual 7.5). Loved them so much I just got my second pair in Ghost.
Would buy another pair if they were full waterproof! Love, Love, Love them!

On the Fence
I recently started riding my bikes with flat pedals, rather than clipping in, and found that my Lem's Trailhead shoes were not stiff enough for the longer days. The Trail Thrasher shoes, however, work great and my arches no longer cramp up while I'm riding.
However, they are definitely narrower, especially across the base of my toes, and after about 45 minutes my toes will start to go numb. I have to lace the shoes differently to get it *almost* loose enough. I have so many pairs of Lem's shoes because they are the only ones that are wide enough for my very-wide feet; these are the only ones that are too narrow. They're definitely better than any other flat shoe on the market, but I wish they fit the way the Trailhead shoes do.
I'm hopeful with time the outsole will loosen up and the issue will resolve itself.
