Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Awesome boots
I was looking for a comfortable, lightweight boot that I could wear all day while having my carpenter belt (about 30# when fully loaded) on.
These boots exceeded my expectations on all accounts, I am not dying to get them off at the end of the day :). And they have a unique look that goes well with my kilt and helps separates me from everyone else.

One of most comfortable boots I have ever worn
This is the sixth pair of Lems that I own. Up to now I have focused on Boulder Boot options, all of which have served me well, but thought it was time to try something different, and something that would be really warm for general winter use. I love these Tellurides! Because of advanced neuropathy, I have to remove the insoles, but the boot is so well made that they are still comfortable. The lining around the upper collar makes for a warm snug fit, and the extra wide toe box avoids triggering pain in my overly sensitive toes. I don't wear these in rain or slush: that's when I wear Lems waterproof Boulder or Telluride boots. But on most days, these have become my main winter footwear.
The look, which has generated compliments, reminds me of a moccasin. Highly Recommend
