There’s nothing quite like sliding your feet into a warm pair of sherpa faux fur-lined slippers upon waking in the morning. Now, imagine if you had a pair of shoes that were appropriate to wear outside the home, yet still maintained that cozy slipper sensation. Well, you’re in luck because the Drifter Fur Cozy Cabin is here!

Thanks to its luxuriously soft faux fur lining and wool heel, you can simply swap your house slippers for the Drifter Furs and keep that slipper feeling with you on the go, sans the judgmental looks from strangers. Well, you might still get snarky looks, but your feet are more comfortable than theirs, so you’re winning.

Created using the same design as the original Drifter, the Drifter Fur differs in that it includes a suede upper, faux fur lining, and wool heel for added warmth. And don’t you worry, we kept the fold down heel feature that you see in the original Drifter. That’s right, we made a slip on that’s even easier to slip on, in a way that doesn’t damage the shoe. 

The cork insole molds to your foot, but if you want a little extra wiggle room, just simply remove it from the shoe. If your foot is on the more narrow side, you may want to consider a sock with this shoe. 

If you dread the cold winter months, our hope is that the Drifter Fur will make the transition a bit more welcoming.

    Comfy, cozy

    First pair ordered size 12 was not long enough. I am a 12D on brannock device so I would say these shoes run small. Returned for 12.5 and fit much better yet not as big as I expected. I expected more width to allow toes to flex as this is a foot form shoe. Very cozy and super comfortable. I bought them as house shoes and I once stepped out of the house with them on as I forgot I had them on my feet!

    The Best House Shoes

    I’ve never been able to find shoes to keep my feet warm inside. I don’t wear my shoes into my house because…gross. The cork insole allows the soles of my feet to breathe, the fur keeps the tops of my feet insulated. The only small criticism I have is with the shoe sizing - get a half size bigger than your boulder summit or the same size as your boulder boot.

    I’m three Lems shoes in and am so thankful that these shoes are barefoot adjacent. I walk on hard floors at work in the city, on concrete at my part-time, at home, and in the barn. My knees appreciate the cushion while still allowing my foot to flex nearly as much as if I was walking around barefoot. Also, I have super slim feet for a male - I wore Nikes all my life because they were the only ones that didn’t make the shoes look like a ruffled collar when I tightened them down. The way Lems are built, they allow me to get the shoes tight without looking like a dope. That all being said, the Drifter Fur stays fairly snug on my foot - zero issues walking around the house and they don’t flop. Get yourself a pair and enjoy!
