Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

I may have finally found the shoe that works for me!
I’m convinced that barefoot is the way to go… or at least that modern shoes are leaving people with malformed, atrophied bricks at the ends of their legs. And while there are now several options for barefoot shoes, some look awful, some are overpriced, and several don’t accommodate my monster size 14M (48 Euro) feet. These look good, fit nicely, and are well made for price.
I also love the cork insoles. That little bit of extra padding seems crucial as our barefoot ancestors didn’t evolve in a world of sidewalks and pavement. I still get ground feel, but not so much footsore as I have with some others I’ve tried.

Stiff, but still doing the job.
The soles are not as flexible as I expected for a minimal shoe, and I already have some lacing that is frayed on the outer sole after one month, but still doing the job. The are wide enough for my splayed feet and fit the look I was hoping for as an every day shoe.

Big improvement
I've had 2 or 3 pairs of the Primal 2, and I feel like this is a big upgrade in the shoe for stability and keeping my foot where I want it. Not to mention the slightly thicker feeling soles will allow me to use these longer into the cold weather.
