Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Comfortable!
After being in confining steel toe boots for 20+ years on the railroad it had caused painful ingrown toenails on both big toes requiring surgery. My search for wide shoes was not successful until I found Lems online (no store near me).Post op my feet and back are finally feeling better and i am more stable footed. As far as quality it’s great, no rough spots inside to cause blisters or raw spots going without socks and the ventilation is great also. I might not be a trendsetter but but the primal 3 is a step up from the others.

I Love Everything About Them!
This is my first pair of Lems, and I absolutely love these shoes! The color is exactly as shown on the website, which I’ve had issues with in the past from other brands. They are incredibly comfortable, they feel like they were made for my feet, being made off a wide last, they don’t constrict at all. The quality is impeccable as well! I am on concrete floors every day, so I was a little nervous at first about having a barefoot shoe for everyday use, but it turned out to be no problem at all! I wear them all day long and at the end of the day my feet feel fine. I 100% recommend these to anyone looking for a good barefoot shoe.
