The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform

True to size?
Super stoked on the boots overall.. three days in, no break-in time needed... been wearing them everyday all day plus a couple long hikes with the pup. Feet are happy.. im used to wearing vivo barefoot shoes but wanted something more tromp-worthy. Only thing is and i hope this helps someone else, I'd still recommend 1/2 size up! My friend even warned me and i didnt listen and ordered an 11 which im true to in every other shoe ive ever owned from skate shoes to work boots... my toes were right on the front edge/touching and definitely jamming up front walking down hill... and in my last experience the leather actually shrank and only got tighter... anyhow, lems made the exchange super easy and i got some 11 1/2s which feel great, plenty room upfront but still tight where it counts. Dont cram your toes on a long backpacking trip and loose your big toenails like i did! Haha give em room!

Boulder boots
I find the boulder boot grip waterproof super comfortable but not as much as my original boulder boots. The original ones have a slightly wider toe box and the sole have a more barefoot feel on it.
Very nice boot though.
