Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

great shoes, wrong size
i love the shoes, but a size 6 would have been a better fit. i did not notice the "no exchange" part until i received them in the mail, unfortunately

Second pair of Lems Mesa
This is my second pair of this shoe. The first was in a kind of eggplant color. I can't tell you how many compliments I got on the shoe's appearance, and it was very comfortable. I did read some reviews that said that the heel of the shoe broke down because you can't completely open the shoe to put your foot in. I did not have that problem at all. After two years of constant use, I got a tiny hole in the pinky toe side of one of my shoes, and then I looked at the sole and realized I needed a new pair! The pale grey color is very nice and also gets a lot of compliments. I hope they are not retiring this shoe and are only getting a new color scheme. These are perfect for me as they are zero drop but do provide more support than a true minimialist shoe, so I get the benefit of zero drop but don't get the hip pain I get without the additional support. Highly recommend!
