Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Convert from Blundstones
I wore Blundstone's for 10 years, nearly exclusively. Then I got the start of a bunion from the narrow toe box. I was devastated knowing I could wear them no longer! Enter Lems Chelsea Boot, and I couldn't be any happier. Pain free again. They are light, strong, and just as rugged and cute as my blundstones. Only 4/5 stars because the off sizing is frustrating, and one of my inserts was the wrong size, too big and folded over in the boot. I cut it down to size with no problems. I was an 8 in Blundstones, which is an 8.5 in Lems. I Love these boots.

Love these boots but I wish they lasted longer
These are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn and I was hesitant about this type of shoe since I have very high arches, but I just added arch supports to them and they're fine. I've worn them daily for about 5 months and the outside stitching on one of the heels is coming out which I'm not happy about since it's a bit soon for a shoe to start breaking down for me. The treads also have the perfect spacing to collect and redistribute gravel and small stones everywhere and the boots get filthy and need to be cleaned every time I go walking on trails. I still love them enough to have bought a second pair. Maybe Lems can redesign the treads for less stone-retaining spacing one day.

Love these
Bought these in the summer so I haven't had a lot of wear yet, but have used them a handful of times so far. Super comfortable and fit is just right. Can't wait to see what they will be like in the winter.
