Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Good not perfect
Had a pair now for 9 months. Wanted a durable, do most things reasonably well shoe. Cycle touring flat pedals, hiking, canoeing, travel, short trails runs. They're almost there.
Good fit and secure with good toe spread but a little too snug for hot weather expansion. That's probably due to my weird feet. Negatives. The mesh let's sand in. The laces come undone constantly. The heal counter wore pretty quickly and they suck up water and take ages to dry so not good as a thru trail or canoe shoe. I have a black pair and they just look mucky all the time so not great as a travel shoe. If Lems can just tweak those issues they'd be perfect as a do most things reasonably well shoe. Apart dome the heal wear they seem very durable and the grip is great on loamy Welsh soils and stony Spanish caminos.

Great, too bad discontinued
Love the fit and feel if this shoe, wanted a lite hiker and this checks all the blocks. Sturdy sole with fairly agressive tread, spent a weekend camping in them without issue. Tood bad this model is discontinued otherwise I'd get another pair.

Spartan worthy for me!
I like these for my Spartan races. Shame they are being discontinued! They only last 3 races and training though :-)
