The Outlanders with their waterproof uppers and 4mm deep lugs will give you incredible traction, whether you’re snowshoeing through mountain powder or trudging through mucky slush in town. Live somewhere very wet (we’re looking at you PNW)? The gusseted tongue keeps the tongue completely attached to the boot, preventing moisture and debris from coming inside the shoe. We also took the same breathable, waterproof liner from the Waterproof Boulder Boot to keep water out so your feet stay dry and warm.

A spacious toe box coupled with a zero-drop platform will have your feet dancing on the trail, because these natural foot-shaped hiking boots allow you to move in proper alignment, just as nature intended.

Now, for the toughest decision of all: Which colorway will you choose? Evergreen, Blue Steel, or Iceberg? All three are beauties designed with inspiration from Mother Nature herself.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

100% WATERPROOF UPPER

With its fully waterproof membrane and gusseted tongue, the Outlander will keep your feet dry and warm, especially after a day on the slopes or slogging through slush on your way to the bar!

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel close to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

WIDE TOE BOX

Unlike traditional footwear that squeeze the toes together, our foot-shaped toe box allows for maximum room giving the toes ultimate freedom to wiggle and spread.

    Comfortable, Practical and Good looking.

Right out of the box these are super comfortable shoes. My toes and ankles are happy. I changed the insole to one that's better for my plantar fasciitis so my arches are happy. Great for slightly sloppy winter weather in New England. Though they are very light weight, they feel well made. I hope to enjoy them for a long time.

Waterproof and durable, don't love the fit or traction

I buy the majority of my shoes online and I rely on reviews to help decide on how well a pair of shoes will fit and wear. I typically wear barefoot shoes but I like my hiking shoes to have a thicker sole for shock absorption. I usually wear a size 9.5 and initially bought that size. I wore them around the house for a couple days and then took them on a 4 mile hike and found them to be too short any decline. I reordered them in a 10. Swapped the laces out since the standard ones are too short and come untied even when double knotted. I also sprayed them with waterproofing since I do that with most of my hiking boots.

I've had these boots for over a year and taken them on 7-12 ish mile hikes where I was anticipating rough/ rocky, wet/ muddy conditions.

    Pros:

These boots will keep your feet dry. I hiked Mailbox Peak where it was misting, raining or snowing the entire hike. At the end the only warm and dry part of me was my feet. I've had water and mud (were I thought the ground was solid and it wasn't) halfway up the boot during creek crossings and haven't had issues with water getting inside. I find they are most comfortable in temps ranging from 30-70deg F with a medium cushioned wool sock.

These boot are also durable. As a frequent tripper over rocks and roots I haven't had issues with any stitching wearing out, tears in the material and the tread still looks good.

    Cons:

They lack traction. The sole is stiff which I anticipated based on the stack height but I find it…
