More substantial than my old Primal 2s
I have two old pairs of Primal 2s that are wearing out, so these were intended as a replacement.
They look good, they're zero drop and have a wide toebox, and they are vegan friendly. I can wear Correct Toes in them. But they are stiffer than I prefer. I hope they will soften as I break them in. My old Primal 2's now have a truly barefoot feel -- sort of uncomfortable on gravel logging roads because the soles are so flexible (they're great for square dancing).
I had to try twice on the size. I ended up with EU 40.5, while my old ones are EU 42 and fit about the same. My new Primal Zens are EU 41 and are the largest of the three. I do not have a "usual" US size because sizing is so inconsistent across brands and even (as here) within a brand.
