Boulder Summit Waterproof for menn

I am going to be as objective as I possibly can. First and foremost, Everyone's feet are different. What doesn't work for me may work for someone else. I currently use the OTB Flex for terrain and heavy-duty rucking and use the OTB Carbon for timed rucks on pavement. I have worn other boots, but I felt the OTB boots are solid and my go-to. That being said..

I REALLY wanted to like this boot as much as I thought I would. I do like this boot for a few reasons, but I just cannot personally recommend this boot in its current design. I've put about 50 miles so far in this pair (after finally buying a pair from their recent restock), and I feel I can adequately give an honest review of the boot so far. My opinion might change in the future, but I doubt it.

Starting off with the pros:

- The wide toe box sets this boot apart from the rest. This boot is in a league of its own when it comes to toe room. The only other pair I could probably think of that comes close is maybe the GoRuck Mac v2s (hated that boot for other reasons). For me, the toe box is the most perfect thing about this shoe.

- The extra padding inside the shoe is much appreciated. Some boots I have tried don't have as much padding, and I've felt my feet get pretty banged up.

- The traction on these shoes is very nice and grippy. They follow the same patterns as some of the other Lems boots like the Summit Pros. I felt very confident when rucking in cross-country-like terrain when transitioning from gravel, grass,…

And these are by far the best. They're the right color. They're the right toe box and last. They're the right blend of tough but light. They're the right outsoles. They're the right amount of squish. Now, all that is caveated with "I fly a desk," but if you're like me (flat footer who's particular about footwear -and- knows they love Lems) these are a no-brainer. Wish I had them earlier in my career!

As an Army Warrant Officer, I’ve worn a lot of boots over the years, and the Lems Men’s Tactical Pro Tall Boots have been one of the most comfortable pairs I’ve owned. Traction has been excellent on gravel, dirt, wet pavement, and uneven terrain. The boots have also held up well to daily wear, and the construction feels solid with quality materials and stitching. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day without feeling like I need to get them off as soon as I get home.

If you prefer a more natural-feeling boot without sacrificing durability, these are worth a serious look. Whether you’re spending long hours on the installation, conducting training, or just want a comfortable tactical boot for everyday wear, the Tactical Pro Tall delivers.
