Thank you Lems!
So far so good. Achieved my expectations. These boots fit perfectly on size. However, I ordered a 1/2 size up and they are still a great fit but I could have had a better fit with the 9.5 which is my typical size in most shoes. That being said I have plenty of room and no discomfort whatsoever. Finding footwear is incredibly difficult for me as both my big toes lack cartilage so anything pushing them in, up or down is a no-go. I have been looking for boots like this for a very very long time, quality construction, sexy leather, moc toe, lightweight, vibram sole and a fair price! Perfection!!
I live on the side of a volcano so needless to say nothing is flat and the environment is relentless, it tears apart footwear unapologetically. It’s only been one week but I’m excited to see how long these boots carry me. Thank you Lems for considering my feet 🦶

Long Awaited Perfect Lems Boot
I really love all the specific details unique to this boot. The all-leather inner is much better than having the plaid material. The leather quality of the whole boot is the best I've seen. The Vibram mega-grip is pretty hard to ignore. That's a great addition that I'm sure will come into play a lot more when I get more miles on them.
The moc-toe style, and color are versatile for wear in a lot of situations.
They've been roomy and very comfortable and the density of the sole means more protection than barefoot shoes, which I usually wear, so they're great for longer distances or tougher terrain.
Not sure about breathability at this point. It's hot out so my feet do end up hot.
Anyway, I hope they keep this boot and don't relegate it to a short-term collab that goes away because, in my opinion, this is better than any other boot they make (and I have them all).

After Seven Pairs of Lems, This Is My Favorite Hiking Boot
I’ve been very happy with the Summit Pro Boots, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a serious hiking boot.
I also own the Boulder Boot Grip, so I can make a direct comparison. The traction on the Summit Pro is on another level. If you’re hiking on wet rock, mud, or steep terrain, the difference is immediately noticeable.
One thing to be aware of is that the Summit Pro does require a break-in period. My pair felt quite stiff out of the box and took about 30 miles before they really molded to my feet. By comparison, my Boulder Boot Grip was comfortable from day one. I don’t consider this a negative though. Given the quality and thickness of the leather, I would expect a premium leather boot like this to need some break-in time.
Once broken in, these boots are outstanding. They remain supportive while providing excellent ankle stability, which has given me a lot of confidence on rough Adirondack trails.
I also want to mention Lems’ customer service. My first pair developed a stitching issue, and Lems took care of it immediately with no hassle. Standing behind your products like that says a lot about a company.
I’ve owned seven other Lems models over the years, and the Summit Pro has become my go-to hiking boot. Between the quality of the boots and the way Lems stands behind its products, I’ll continue recommending them to fellow hikers.

Longterm Construction worker boot review.
I have the new pair on my feet. Fresh minx oil has been lathered on so they may appear darker than what you receive when you order yours, I’ll have a picture of them before being oiled for you as well. I always oil my boots for their health and I will always recommend that for anyone looking to increase the boots lifespan.
I then have my almost 3 year old boots in the middle which I haven’t cleaned or maintained this year… and we’re 7 months into 2026 already.
I’d like to speak on my previous pair of Lems boots first.
Simply put, they’re the best boot I’ve ever worn. My back is so grateful. I climb roofs every day. Attics a few times a week. 12 hour shifts Monday-Saturday.
I will never have another boot on my foot for work. After a decade in my industry I know where my home is when it comes to my footwear. They have stood the test of time. The only thing that my old boots need is a new outsole. Everything else has held up perfect. I’m dropping them off at a shoe cobbler tomorrow to be restored to continue to be used.
I love how functional they have been. For work and for personal use. They double as a professional look and also when I dress them down for personal hours outside of work. The dual threat of boots one might say.
For the new boot I’ve received,
I’m absolutely terrified. I’m so scared that this boot will not be around in a few years when I need another pair. So now I’m debating on buying a handful of these boots just in case.
