I love these boots. They feel comfy. They slip on my foot easily. But I ask myself are they meant to be worn barefoot? At first I thought yes they are ,but then my ankles were continuously rubbed raw by the elastic gusset. So I put on a thin wool sock and the boots were still fitting well and ankle problem solved. If I buy again I would probably order a 1/2 size larger to accommodate a thicker sock.

The Chelsea Boots are comfortable around the ankle and on the sole with plenty of room for my toes to splay. Plus they are very cute!

These shoes are a good transition from wearing summer sandals or bare feet to wearing something a little warmer but still very comfortable and lightweight. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my usual size, as with all my Lems shoes, and they fit great.

I love the look and the quality. They are comfortable except they rub my heels on the inside side of both feet. Will be great for a night out or lunch when I don’t have to walk too far.

Have been having trouble with all my old shoes hurting my feet or hip all the time. Have spent big bucks on other shoes, custom made and Birckenstock Chelsea boots as well, but they were still causing foot/hip pain. These Lems Suede Barefoot Chelsea Boots have been wonderful, no more foot or hip pain and I can wear them all day! Yay! My particulars are post menopausal, which is when all my shoes started being uncomfortable/painful, a very wide front foot, longer 2nd toes and high volume feet. These barefoot boots are the best! Note, I did go up a full size from my normal 8.5 to a 9.5, the 8.5 was too short for my 2nd toe on my slightly longer foot and I wanted to wear these with wool socks. So I recommend at least a half size bigger than usual and maybe a full size if they are for winter.
